PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR BERNADETTE THERESE C. FERNANDEZ PRESENTS HER CREDENTIALS TO REPUBLIC OF KOREA PRESIDENT LEE JAE MYUNG

11 December 2025- Philippine Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez presented her credentials to His Excellency Lee Jae Myung, President of the Republic of Korea, at the Yongsan Presidential Office of the Republic of Korea on 11 December 2025. She was accompanied by Defense Attache Colonel Don Templonuevo of the Philippine Army. 

In the exchange that followed the ceremony between President Lee Jae Myung and Ambassador Fernandez, the Ambassador reiterated the invitation of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for President Lee to visit the Philippines.  She also reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to strengthening cooperation across political, defense, economic, and cultural sectors, as well as in people-to-people exchanges.

Ambassador Fernandez presented her credentials along with the Ambassadors of Cambodia, Austria, Ghana, India, Sri Lanka, Lebanon and Egypt. END
