Seoul, 26 October 2026 – Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez met with the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) Executive Director Bernadette de los Santos and her delegation members who are visiting the Republic of Korea from 25 to 31 October 2026 for livestock benchmarking.

The visit is organized by the Embassy’s Philippine Agriculture Office with the aim of strengthening Philippine dairy industry through public-private comparative benchmarking study. The Embassy assured the delegation of assistance in pursuing their technical cooperation mission in the Republic of Korea.

The National Agriculture Cooperative Federation (NACF) of Korea and the Kyungpook National University (KNU) in Daegu will provide opportunities to share Korea’s dairy modernization policy and models. The delegation are scheduled to visit livestock farms and a fish market.

PCAF was established in 2004 as an attached agency of the Department of Agriculture which facilitates broad-based public-private partnerships in the agriculture and fisheries sector. END
