PHILIPPINE EMBASSY MEETS WITH OFW PARTY LIST REP. MARISSA "DEL MAR" MAGSINO ON MIGRANT WORKERS' CONCERNS


Rep. Marissa Magsino, OFW Partylist discusses migrant workers concerns with the PH Embassy

December 27, 2022. Seoul. Ambassador Theresa Dizon-De Vega and officers of the Philippine Embassy and POLO-OWWA welcomed Representative Marissa "Del Mar" Magsino of the OFW Partylist to discuss migrant workers' concerns on 19 December 2022 at the Philippine Embassy in Seoul.

Among the matters discussed were possible cooperation between the Embassy and the Office of Representative Magsino on medical repatriation assistance, livelihood programs, financial literacy, and property investment information sessions for the benefit of overseas Filipinos. Representative Magsino is undertaking plans to return to South Korea in 2023 to meet with Korean legislative counterparts, labor officials, and members of the Filipino Community. Rep. Magsino continues to be an overseas Filipino workers advocate and has spearheaded OFW-related legislation in the Philippine House of Representatives. END

PHILIPPINE EMBASSY CONDUCTS CONSULAR OUTREACH SERVICE IN JEJU, REPUBLIC OF KOREA

30 August 2025, Jeju. The Philippine Embassy in Seoul conducted a two-day consular outreach mission in Jeju-si, Jeju-do from 30 to 31 August 2025, led by Consul General Edwin Gil Q. Mendoza. The consular team provided a total of 54 consular and Assistance-to-Nationals services to members of the Filipino community, including e-passport applications, notarials, civil registration, and Embassy ID, among others.
