PHILIPPINE EMBASSY TO APPEAR ON PINOYBROADCAST IN SOUTH KOREA PROGRAM

27 December 2021, Seoul - The Philippine Embassy will be a recurring guest in 2022 on the "Pinoybroadcast in South Korea" program under the Multicultural Family Broadcasting of KISS Digital Radio in cooperation with the Woongjin Foundation.

The announcement was made during the special Christmas broadcast of the show with Philippine Ambassador Theresa Dizon-De Vega and host Ms. Gennie Kim.

The Philippine Embassy will be among the regular guests for the Philippine-themed broadcasts, providing timely information, updates, and guidance on matters ranging from consular, labor and other services to programs promoting the welfare of Filipinos living and working in Korea.

The Embassy will likewise make announcements and keep Filipino nationals informed about important developments in Philippines-Korea relations. The program is part of the efforts of the Woongjin Foundation and KISS Digital Radio to reach out to various ethnic communities in South Korea by providing programming in eight different languages including Filipino, tips for living in Korea for foreigners, on air Korean language sessions, and airplay of international and Korean music.

The program is easily accessible online with a full broadcast schedule providing a practical online resource for non-Koreans on information affecting their communities. The PinoyBroadcast show and its host Ms. Kim are Hall of Fame recipients of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas Migration Advocacy and Media Awards (MAM).

Listeners are invited to tune in to the online broadcasts in 2022. The programming schedule will be made available on the Philippine Embassy's Facebook and Instagram pages and on the online platforms of Pinoybroadcast in South Korea. END
