Through festivals and platforms such as this ASEAN Film Festival, more audiences will have the opportunity to view these remarkable films, across several genres. I hope that this glimpse of AEAN cinema will show Korean audiences the depth and breadth of the cinematic voices of our region."

The Philippines and Brunei were guest countries at the festival, celebrating 75 years and 40 years of diplomatic relations with Korea, respectively.

Two films from Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, and Vietnam were featured including one film collaboration by Malaysia, Singapore, and France for a total of ten (10) films.
