Seoul, 12 July 2018 ? Philippine Ambassador to Korea, His Excellency Raul S. Hernandez, led the opening of Multiculture Museum in Seoul's special exhibition "Teas from Around the World" on 5 July 2018. Speaking on behalf of the Embassies that participated in the exhibit, Ambassador Hernandez shared that although the Philippines is not known as a tea producing and drinking country, Filipinos have imbibed the habit of drinking tea for its health benefits.

For the exhibition, the Philippine Embassy displayed various teas by Philippine tea brand Tsaa Laya. The teas were complemented by the tea sets created by ceramicist Lanelle Abueva-Fernando whose handmade stoneware ceramics incorporated volcanic ash glaze from Mt. Pinatubo.
