06 March 2022, Seoul - Minister and Consul General Romulo Victor Israel Jr. represented the Philippines in the follow-up roundtable meeting convened by the ROK Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) supply chain partnership on 24 February 2022 at the Lotte Hotel Seoul.

The Philippines is part of the ten resource-rich nations that participate in the regular roundtable discussion on supply chain cooperation convened by MOTIE. During the meeting, the Philippines reiterated that as one of the world's major suppliers of raw nickel, cobalt, and copper needed for the global value chain, it looks forward to collaborating with ROK in the supply assurance and processing of these minerals through programs benefiting both countries. The Philippines invites Korean companies to invest in the sustainable processing of minerals and ores, as the Philippine government aims to revitalize the mining industry. Marcos Jr., joined by First Lady Louise Araneta - Marcos, met with over 270 Filipinos in South Korea during a community gathering held alongside the APEC Summit in Gyeongju. PH AMBASSADOR REINFORCES PH–ROK STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP IN MEETING WITH MOFA DIRECTOR GENERAL

Seoul, Republic of Korea — PH Ambassador-designate to the ROK Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez paid a courtesy call on Director General for Southeast Asian Affairs Lee Donggy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea on 13 November 2025. PH AMBASSADOR CALLS ON JAPANESE AMBASSADOR IN SEOUL

Seoul, 4 November 2025 — Philippine Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Korea Bernadette Therese Fernandez paid a courtesy call on H.E. Koichi Mizushima, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Korea.
