PHL EMBASSY SUPPORTS ROK’S YOUTH CAMP FOR ASIA’S FUTURE 2014


Philippine Ambassador to Korea Raul Hernandez with Philippine representatives to the youth camp led by Commissioner Jo Jan Paul Peñol of the Philippine National Youth Commission and Second Secretary and Consul Aian Caringal at the opening ceremony of the Youth Camp for Asia’s Future 2014 at the Sangam Stanford Hotel on 8 August 2014.

SEOUL, 10 August 2014 – Philippine Ambassador to Korea Raul S. Hernandez attended the opening at the Sangam Stanford Hotel on 8 August 2014 of the Youth Camp for Asia’s Future, which is hosted by the Korea’s Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) and organized by the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK).

MOGEF Minister Kim Hee-jung gave her congratulatory remarks to the ceremony attended by around 200 youth representatives from over 24 countries as well as representatives from MOGEF, NCYOK and other Korean government agencies and universities. The camp will be held in Seoul, Jeonju, and Jeju Island.

During the event, Philippine Ambassador to Korea Raul Hernandez briefly met with Minister Kim of MOGEF and agreed to discuss in the future issues relating to the youth and to the welfare of multicultural families in Korea.

Ambassador Hernandez also met with the Philippine delegation composed of six (6) youth representatives led by Commissioner Jo Jan Paul Peñol of the Philippine National Youth Commission.

Taking the slogan “Asian Youths! Start a New Innovative Era”, the 13-day camp aims to provide opportunities to enhance understanding and future-oriented mutual interactive cooperation by inviting promising Asian youths for training as next-generation global leaders who will lead common prosperity and development of Asia.

PH AMBASSADOR REINFORCES PH–ROK STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP IN MEETING WITH MOFA DIRECTOR GENERAL

PH AMBASSADOR CALLS ON JAPANESE AMBASSADOR IN SEOUL

Seoul, 4 November 2025 — Philippine Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Korea Bernadette Therese Fernandez paid a courtesy call on H.E. Koichi Mizushima, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Korea.
