Jasmine Lee, the first naturalized Korean elected to the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, for the first time at the Embassy Chancery on 10 June 2014, just before the start of a follow-up forum for Filipino women from multicultural families organized by the Embassy.

Seoul, 12 July 2026 – The Philippine Embassy in Seoul, through the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) South Korea, in cooperation with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), successfully conducted the Livelihood Skills Training Program on "Beyond Human: The Rise and Power of Generative AI" on 12 July 2026 at the Sentro Rizal Hall, Philippine Embassy in Seoul. The training was participated in by more than fifty (50) overseas Filipinos and OFWs based in ROK.
