SEOUL PE CONDUCTS SECOND CONSULAR OUTREACH IN DAEGU

DAEGU, 12 to 13 May 2017 ? The Philippine Embassy in South Korea conducted its two-day consular outreach mission on 12 and 13 May 2017 in Daegu Metropolitan City, the fourth largest city in South Korea after Seoul, Busan, and Incheon
The consular mission, the second for the year, was held at the Catholic Workers' Center in downtown Daegu in coordination with the Daegu Filipino Community Council (DFCC) headed by its Chairman, Mr. Lito M. Amit. The six-member consular team was led by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ella Karina R. Mitra.The Consular Team tallied a total of 348 cases of passport applications, civil registration, notarials, travel documents, NBI clearances, and certifications during the two-day outreach.
Daegu, which is 238 kilometers south of Seoul, is home to 1,687 Filipinos (as of 31 March 2017 per Korean Immigration data).
