THE MOST REVEREND BISHOP PAUL LEE KYUNG-SANG RECEIVES EMBASSY OFFICIALS


Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez called on the Most Reverend Bishop Paul Lee Kyung-sang, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Seoul and Executive Director of the Catholic Education Foundation at the Archdiocese in Myeongdong on 04 August 2026.

Seoul, 04 August 2026 - Philippine Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez and Cultural Attaché Anthony Rafael Gil Z. Cornista were received in audience by the Most Reverend Bishop Paul Lee Kyung-sang, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Seoul and Executive Director of the Catholic Education Foundation at the Archdiocese in Myeongdong, Seoul.  

Ambassador Fernandez conveyed felicitations to Bishop Lee on his work as leader of the Catholic community in Seoul and in his capacity as the General Coordinator for the World Youth Day (WYD) Seoul 2027 which will be held in Seoul from 03 to 08 August 2027. END

Ambassador Fernandez and Bishop Lee were joined by officials of the Archdiocese of Seoul and Embassy’s Cultural Officer and Attaché Anthony Rafael Gil Z. Cornista (in white).

The Philippine Embassy conducted its mobile consular service and overseas voter mobile registration on 15 August 2026 in Bupyeong-gu, Republic of Korea, led by Consul Flaureen Dacanay. The consular team rendered 63 units of consular and Assistance to Nationals services to members of the Filipino community, including e-passport applications, notarial, civil registration, and Embassy ID, among others.
