29 December 2025, Seoul. Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez, together with women Ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Korea, met with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Jina on 17 December 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ambassadors from Austria, Brunei Darussalam, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Ireland, Jordan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Portugal, and Sudan held an engaging exchange with Vice Minister Kim on strengthening political, economic, defense, and security cooperation with the Republic of Korea.

The Ambassadors reaffirmed their continued support for the Republic of Korea’s efforts to advance women’s empowerment and underscored the vital role of women in democracy, diplomacy, and sustainable development. END

Seoul, 13 August 2026 — The Philippine Embassy in Seoul, led by Ambassador Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez, extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes to Ambassador-designate Lee Donggy, who departs for the Philippines today to assume his post as Ambassador of the Republic of Korea.
