Fernandez joined fellow heads of mission as a panelist at the International Women’s Day Forum hosted by Sookmyung University, marking the university’s 120th anniversary. 08 March 2026, Seoul — The Philippine Embassy in the Republic of Korea joins the celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) and International Women’s Day Celebration in March with the sub-theme “Lead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas!” This theme reaffirms that women’s leadership is a fundamental part of Filipino identity.
