ADVISORY: NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC ON THE TURN-OVER OF ATN SERVICES OF THE EMBASSY TO MWO-SEOUL / PAUNAWA SA PUBLIKO UKOL SA PAGLILIPAT NG SERBISYONG ATN SA MWO-SEOUL MULA SA EMBAHADA

Beginning July 1, 2023, and pursuant to Republic Act No. 11641 creating the new Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), the Embassy's Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) service for Overseas Filipino Workers (documented or undocumented) will be turned-over to the Migrant Workers' Office (formerly POLO) under the DMW. These services include legal or medical assistance, repatriation, and shipment of remains. However, all cases already being handled by the Embassy's ATN Section prior to the turn-over will remain and not be transferred to the MWO.

In addition, ATN services for non-Filipino workers such as students, tourists, and marriage migrants will continue to be handled by the ATN Section of the Embassy.
