HOLIDAY NOTICE FOR APRIL 2025

The public is advised that the Philippine Embassy in Seoul will be closed for Consular Operations on:

09 April 2025 (Wednesday) – Araw ng Kagitingan (PHL)

17 April 2025 (Thursday) – Maundy Thursday (PHL)

20 April 2025 (Sunday) – Easter Sunday (PHL) 

Those who have confirmed appointments with the Consular Section of the Embassy on these dates may walk in -- without an appointment -- on any other date, between Sunday and Thursday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, during the month of April 2025.

However, the Philippine Embassy shall be open for registered Overseas Voters who wish to avail of the Pre-Voting Enrollment and Online Voting kiosk on 17 and 20 April 2025 from 9:00 am to 5:00pm, in connection with the conduct of Overseas Voting for the 2025 Philippine National Elections.

LAUNCH OF FULLY DIGITAL APOSTILLE FOR PSA E-CERTIFICATES AND CHED E-CAVS

The Philippine Embassy in Seoul informs the public of the Official Launch of the Fully Digital Apostille (eApostille) for Philippine Statistics Authority electronic Certificates (PSA eCertificates) and Commission on Higher Education electronic Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CHED eCAVs) at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, Philippines, on 16 March 2026. This initiative is part of the Philippines’ continuing implementation of the electronic Apostille Program (e-APP) of the HCCH aimed at facilitating the secure electronic issuance and verification of Apostilles and promoting the efficient cross-border use of public documents among Contracting Parties to the Apostille Convention.  The following arrangements for the issuance of Apostilles for PSA eCertificates, covering civil registry documents, and CHED eCAVs, covering academic documents, were implemented starting 16 March 2026:
