27 March 2026 - Seoul PE participated in the Tourism Promotion Board’s (TPB) and DOT’s Dive Philippines B2B Networking Night at the COEX, Seoul, in connection with the Korea Underwater Sports (KUSPO) Show held at the same venue from 26 to 29 March 2026.

The Philippine delegation to KUSPO consisted of DOT-Korea, TPB officials, DoT regional offices, PH resorts’ owners and managers, airlines’ officials and industry stakeholders from all over the Philippines.  The networking night was organized to offer a venue for Philippine sellers and Korean partners to connect and explore collaboration opportunities.

In his Welcome Remarks, DOT-Korea Tourism Attache Dr. Erwin Balane enumerated the advantages of the Philippines as a dive destination and the reasons why the country has garnered numerous international awards as the preferred location for divers from around the globe. The networking session provided Korean clients and travel agents with a venue to engage with PH dive stakeholders and pursue partnerships and future collaborations.

DHM and Consul General Edwin Gil Mendoza delivered the Keynote Address, delineating the different dive spots across the PH archipelago.  Despite the current challenging travel conditions, PH still provides the best option for Korean divers who wish to explore diverse dive experiences.  Not only is the Philippines one of the closest diving destinations for Koreans, it also gives them value for their funds.

The KUSPO Show is the leading expo focused on the diving and underwater sports industry, showing scuba diving equipment, travel trade opportunities and marine conservation programs. – END
