Seoul 14 February. The Philippine Embassy in Seoul announced the approval of US$4.5 million operational budget of the ASEAN-Korea Center on 10 February. Now on its fourth year of operation, the Center has become ASEANââ¬â¢s face in South Korea. A 30-man delegation organized by the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) Korea and the ASEAN Korea Center is set to participate in the International Food Exhibition Philippines (IFEX Philippines) on May 16-19, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Philippines. Representatives of leading Korean food importers, distributors and retailers and manufacturers of food packaging materials and equipment comprise the PTIC Korea delegation to the IFEX Philippines 2013. Essentially, the delegation will form part of a buying mission while a small contingent will make up a pool of experts expected to make presentations on food processing and packaging technology during the IFEX Philippines Forum.
