CHRISTIAN PASTORS GROUP IN KOREA CALLS ON PHL AMBASSADOR


SEOUL, 04 September 2014 – Filipino Christian pastors from various ministries in South Korea called on Philippine Ambassador to Korea Raul S. Hernandez on Thursday, 4 September 2014 at the Philippine Embassy Chancery.

Pastors Peter Teodosio, Allan Gadon, Eddie Labios, Jr., Arnel Silva, and Ariel Bernardo, all members of the United Filipino Pastors of Korea, briefed Ambassador Hernandez about the general nature of their work and about the various kinds of services and assistance they provide to the members of their churches.

They also gave information on their upcoming activity, the 2014 Chuseok Inter-church Fellowship, which was scheduled to be held at the Osan-ri Prayer Mountain in Paju City, Gyeonggi province.

Ambassador Hernandez encouraged them in their work of service and cited the importance of moral guidance and sense of community that they provide to their members as the life of an OFW, at times, can be lonely and vulnerable to various temptations.

PH EMBASSY HIGHLIGHTS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP, VALUE OF DIPLOMACY AT KNDA ANNUAL PANEL

25 March 2026, Seoul - The Philippine Embassy in Seoul participated in the Annual Diplomatic Panel of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) on 25 March 2026 at the DiploTown Building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.  The program gathered forty (40) diplomatic candidates of the KNDA and five (5) working-level diplomats from the Embassies of the Philippines, Guatemala, the United Kingdom, Türkiye, and Brazil.  The KNDA panel convenes representatives of diplomatic missions in Seoul for an exchange on the practice of diplomacy and present the significance of their respective countries’ relations with the Republic of Korea to the newest cohort of Korean diplomats.

30 March 2026, Seoul – The Philippine Embassy in Seoul hosted a roundtable on cyber diplomacy, gender-inclusive artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity on 30 March 2026, bringing together female Heads of Mission in the Republic of Korea, diplomats, and invited stakeholders from government, academe, business, and civil society. The roundtable served as a platform for discussing cybersecurity, digital governance, artificial intelligence, and the continuing need to narrow the gender gap in the digital sphere.
