
Philippine Ambassador witness signing ceremony of ASEAN-ROK Joint Research and Development MOUs
SEOUL, 27 January 2022 - Philippine Ambassador to Korea Theresa B. Dizon-De Vega witnessed the signing ceremony for six (6) new MOUs under ASEAN-Korea Joint Research and Development (R&D) on 26 January 2022. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT). Companies based in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia signed their respective MOUs with Korean companies virtually while the heads of Diplomatic Missions in Korea joined the ceremony in person.

251 EPS WORKERS ENTER SOUTH KOREA
17 December 2021, Seoul. The Philippine Embassy in Korea welcomed the arrival of 42 Filipino workers under the Employment Permit System (EPS) today, which brings to 251 the total number of workers who arrived in South Korea this December following the resumption of entry of EPS workers late last month. Of this, 200 are regular EPS workers while 51 are Sincere (or special re-entry) workers.
