PH EMBASSY ADMINISTERS OATH TO OFFICERS OF FILIPINO KOREA SPOUSES ASSOCIATION AND TRISKELION ALUMNI ORGANIZATION
23 May 2024, Seoul. Ambassador Theresa B. Dizon-De Vega administered the oath-taking of the officers of two Filipino community organizations, the Filipino Korea Spouses Association (FKSA) and Triskelion Alumni Organization-Korea (TAO-Korea), on 14 April and 19 May 2024, respectively, at the Sentro Rizal Hall of the Philippine Embassy. Both organizations have been long-standing partners of the Embassy and MWO-OWWA-Seoul in various community initiatives for Overseas Filipinos in South Korea.

Philippine Agricultural Cooperatives Undertake Mission to Korea
19 May 2024, Seoul. Heads and representatives of 13 agricultural cooperatives from the Philippines took part in a learning mission to Korea for meetings with Korea's National Agricultural Cooperative Foundation (NACF), NH Bank, CJ Feeds, and other institutions involved in the development of the agricultural cooperative system of Korea. 22 May 2024, Seoul. Former Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Delia Domingo Albert was a guest speaker at Ewha Woman's University Distinguished Global Lecture Series on 19 April 2024. Focusing on the theme "Building Global Networks in Diplomacy and International Relations", Ambassador Albert shared highlights of her professional journey first as an education then as a diplomat and advocate within the context of regional and international developments such as the establishment of ASEAN and its subsequent membership expansion; the crafting of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW); the various historic women-focused international conferences; the evolution of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC); the Global Summit of Women; and the opportunities and challenges for women in the diplomatic and international relations sphere. The audience of 70 students and faculty of Ewha University's Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) likewise posed questions to Ambassador Albert and appreciated the inspiration and motivation she provided to the students.

Lim, Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports highlighted innovative policies and improvements in the Philippine aviation sector during the 2024 ICAO Legal Seminar held in Seoul, ROK from 16 to 18 April 2024. The seminar, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) of the Republic of Korea and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) had about 600 participants from 62 countries.
